Happy New Year!
May the next 366 (Leap Year!) days be full of love, laughter and great memories, and that you have the strength and courage to face your hardships!
I’ve never been a very traditional person, I’m not big on holiday celebrations or the like. Though there is something oddly unsettling about New Years to me, a bit like hesitating to close a chapter of your life. Another year gone, another year to come. My 2015 was rather uneventful, and came with a handful of hardships, yet overall it was a moderately good year. My excitement lies with 2016, life has so much to offer and I hope 2016 comes brimming with possibilities!
I’m spending my first quiet morning of the New Year sipping on some lovely spiced black tea and working on this wrinkly beast. I adore elephants. It was just over a year ago that I had the fortune of visiting Kruger National Park in South Africa while visiting family, I still remember the chill of seeing my first wild elephant.
